Neyo don't beef he just a lova sorry Yung Berg

When Ne-yo was asked during a recent interview about his response to Yung Berg’s diss, he simply said that beefing is not his thing. “Response for what?” he said about going back at Berg. “That ain’t my lane, dude. I don’t beef. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I don’t do dis records. I don’t do beef. I don’t do any of that blogs talking about cats. I don’t do that. That ain’t my thing. I’m a grown man. I got money to make.”

Neyo goes on to say, “I can’t work with people that’s doing this for the fame element or the money element,” …”I think that’s what’s destroying music. You got cats out here that are copycatting and doing stuff that’s popular. You know, doing it because that’s what’s in right now, whatever the case may be — but basically what you’re doing is killing music. You’re killing the creative element of what this is, which was the basis of this whole thing, which is self-expression.”

R. Kelly gets some pocket change

Today, a Los Angeles judge ordered a Georgia based promoter to pay $3.4 million in damages to R. Kelly for failing to compensate the singer for his 2007 ‘Double Up’ tour. As previously reported a couple of months ago, Kelly filed a lawsuit against Leonard Rowe earlier this year. “I agreed to let Leonard Rowe promote my tour because he convinced mehe was an underdog who deserved a chance to prove himself,” Kelly said via a statement. “Like the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.”

Rowe now faces lawsuits from the duped investors. Last month, Rowe was ordered to pay over $700,000 to R&B singer Ne-Yo for breaching a contract related to the ‘Double Up’ tour.

Word on the street, R&B’s top guns are gearing up for the “Swagger Like Us”:R&B Edition. Yup, you heard right, the R&B world wants to show off their swagger as well. Ok ladies, I know your itching to find out who plans to lay their swaggerific vocals over the Kanye production, so here it goes. SLU: The R&B Edition participants include; Chris Brown, Neyo, Usher, and T-Pain.

Little man Jermaine Dupri earls in Janet's lap

Jermaine Dupri got so drunk at his 36th-birthday party at Tenjune that he threw up in girlfriend Janet Jackson’s lap. People who attended the party said that the couple shared bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T. Shortly after, JD vomited on Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach. JD ended up leaving immediately after.

Ne-yo suing the britches off R. Kelly?!?

WOW! Check this out…Earlier this year we posted that Ne-Yo was suing R. Kelly promoters for dropping him off the R. Kelly tour after just two shows. Ne-Yo was dropped from the tour because he had upstaged R. Kelly (allegedly). Well, Ne-Yo did end up suing the tour’s promoter, Rowe Entertainment, and the company failed to answer the lawsuit that was served to them. Thus, a L.A. Superior Court ordered Rowe Entertainment to pay Ne-Yo (aka Shaffer Smith) and his touring agent $700,320.00. Reps for Rowe had no comment upon press release.

New Kids on the Block + Ne-yo = New song?!?!!?!?

New Kids on the Block and R&B star and producer Ne-Yo have recorded a new song together – and People.com has the first listen of the track. The song, titled "Single," will be available on iTunes Aug. 12, and also appears on NKOTB's upcoming album The Block, due out Sept. 2.
