Lil Wayne to make a rock album next

Normally I don't care about what his mumbling ass is doing buuuuuuuuuut this is kind of a big deal since he's going all crazy with it. Kim Osorio dropped this bit of knowledge.

Lil' Wayne will not be rapping on his next album. Though we have seen many rap artists transition from rapping to singing (Kanye being the most recent example), Wayne's upcoming 2009 release will be a Rock and Roll album, he says.

"This is going to be totally rock," Lil' Wayne responds during an interview that was leaked online last week. Seated in front of a soundboard at the Hit Factory in Miami, Wayne talked to Ozone Magazine's Julia Beverly while holding his electric guitar. Weezy stated that he did not yet have a title for the upcoming Rock album.

With his recent performance earlier this month at the Country Music Awards alongside Kid Rock, Lil' Wayne has showed his commitment to growing as an artist outside of Rap. When asked whether he felt as though he had accomplished everything he could in hip-hop, Weezy said, "I haven't accomplished everything I can accomplish, but I have accomplished a whole lot."

In the interview, Lil' Wayne also acknowledged that 2008 was a big year for him, because of the birth of his son. After being asked whether he was surprised about the industry's reaction to the new addition to his family, Wayne shrugged it off. "I don't even know how they reacted, I never pay attention to people's reactions...It's a kid, so who cares about what anybody thinks."

Rick Ross says that he didn't try to hide his past... (Hahaha)

This is no newsflash to anyone who has two eyes and can see clearly the corrections officer in the photo that Rick Ross once denied (okay, so maybe not an outright denial, but a definite answer of the it-wasn’t-me sorts) was him. But he recently said the following in a recent interview with Don Diva magazine.

“Yes. It’s me…I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my cds. My company has my SS#. I could’ve put a company name… I done been up and I done been down and that’s what makes me what I am. I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. I never locked up a nigga, that’s first and foremost. I always felt that me being the nigga that I am, I never owed a nigga an explanation… When I’m making my music and I’m talking about blow, it’s because I did it. When I say that I’m rich off cocaine, it’s because i did it. Those are the street principals that apply.”

A few months ago, I would have loved this. I’m so over it now.

Kim Osorio... seems like she left out just a little bit of this & that...

Kim Osorio is trippin..First she puts out a Tell All Book outlining the environment present at the Source Magazine siting that employees often watched pornographic movies and hung pictures of females in G-strings, smoked pot and called women bitches. She also claimed that rumors constantly were made detailing untrue stories of her being sexually involved with industry artists. Now the former editor-in-chief of Source magazine claims that she has crossed the line of professionalism in her new book “Straight from the Source,” admitting that she slept with a number of hip hop stars, according to the Daily News. She said her stint with Nas soured when “it was no longer acceptable to communicate via text messages.” She also says she got down with 50 Cent - despite calling him a “greasy convict” in the book. “He gave me the attention I needed,” the former editor writes. “Put your imagination to use.”
