Sex Addict... David Duchovny?!? Wtf mate!

David Duchovny has just entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction. I know! He is addicted to doing the nasty. I guess that is supposed to be a bad thing. What is too much and who gets to decide? David gave this statement about his troubles:

“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the actor says in an exclusive statement. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

David 48 has been married to Tea Leoni for over 10 years now. They have two kids together Kyd and Madelaine. Don’t you just love celebrity names? I’ll bet his dog is named Puppy.

David is right busy playing a man-whore on ‘Californiaction’ right now on Showtime, do you think it rubbed off to real life. His Fox Mulder on ‘The X-Files’ was a bit addicted to porn too, do we notice a trend here? This just makes me wonder if like the drunk who gets a DUI and then hits rehab if Dave got caught doing something naughty. Come on David we need details. Oh well good luck with the rehab.

OJ's daughter socks him one!!

*The New York Daily News is reporting that O.J. Simpson was knocked to the ground Sunday by his daughter Arnelle in a tussle over his 32-year-old girlfriend, Christie Prody.

"Arnelle had a fight with Christie over Christie's behavior," a source told the newspaper. "That's what started the whole thing. Christie has some problems with drinking, and Arnelle got mad. O.J. said 'Don't talk to her like that,' and Arnelle pushed him."

According to the source, Arnelle, 39, called 911 in a fit of guilt after she toppled her 61-year-old dad, giving him a minor head injury. The National Enquirer quoted a source saying O.J. was "cut on the back of his head, blood was coming out the side of his mouth and his lip was cut."

Court recalculates Strahan's divorce payments

Former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan is a happy man today. Earlier this week, his ex-wife was taking him to court for a ridiculous list of child support/personal needs. A state appeals court reversed a lower court’s awarding of about $18,000 per month in child support to his twin 3-year-old daughters, reports the Associated Press. The three-judge panel found a lower court didn’t adequately review the claims by Strahan’s ex-wife about the girls’ needs.

Among his ex-wife’s listed expenses was a 10-day vacation to Jamaica for the girls’ nanny and her family, allegedly as a gift from the children, and diamond jewelry given to their grandmother. Jean also claimed the toddlers needed $27,000 per year for clothing because she dressed them in a new outfit each time they saw their father.
The appeals court also ruled Strahan does not have to pay about $14,000 of his ex-wife’s legal and accounting fees, and that he is not required to purchase $7.5 million in disability insurance since he retired from professional football earlier this year. Strahan was to have paid $8,948 on the first and 15th of each month. Under Tuesday’s ruling, the matter will be reconsidered by the lower court.

“Mr. Strahan is gratified with the result and feels his legal position has been vindicated,” Strahan’s lawyer, Angelo Genova, said Tuesday. “He hopes the matter can be resolved amicably going forward in the interests of his children.”

In related news, the New York Giants were trying to get Strahan to reverse his retirement to fill a hole in its defense left by Osi Umenyiora, who suffered a season-ending knee injury during a pre-season game. Strahan thought about it and decided to decline the tempting offer.

“He was very close to returning, but the great part about Michael is that he takes his time to think about things and he is very thorough,” Strahan’s agent Tony Agnone told The Associated Press. “You can get excited about coming back and running through the tunnel one more time.”

Agnone said that his 36-year-old client struggled deciding whether he could give 100 percent mentally. “In the end, he felt he could not get back to where he was,” Agnone said.

Faith Evans tell all book... lordy it sounds good

I'm just gonna say she airing it out... just read this excerpt:

She pens in her memoire: I don’t know what got into my head. But I decided that I needed to know once and for all what Big was really trying to do. On that night before Christmas, I drove to Big’s house on a mission to find out where I really stood.

The security guard at the gate just waved me in when I pulled up. It was Christmas Eve and she’d seen me come into the complex with the kids, so I guess she didn’t think anything of it. I parked in the rear of Big’s town house and walked up to the garage. It was locked. I hadn’t been over to Big’s house a whole lot but I did know that you jiggle the garage door a certain way and unlock it.

I got into the garage, where there was an elevator that would take me to both floors of Big’s duplex. There I was, rocking a black skully cap and a heavy goose-down jacket, tiptoeing into the elevator and pressing the button to go up to the second floor, where his bedroom was located. I got to Big’s bedroom door, turned the knob, and went inside. As soon as I saw a small lump next to Big’s large frame, I flew into a rage, ran over to the side of the bed, and pulled back the covers. I grabbed some chick out of the bed and started beating her ass. At some point, the chick’s wig came off in my hand; it was a short, cropped wig. I stopped throwing punches for a minute to get a good look at the chick I was beating up. It was Lil Kim. She was completely butt-naked, yelling as I pushed her around the room.

New American Idol Judge: Kara DioGuardi

NEW YORK (AP) -- Scooching in between Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson sounds intimidating, if not a little scary.

Kara DioGuardi says she's "gonna speak to Simon the way I speak to everybody."

But Kara DioGuardi, the newly-installed fourth judge on "American Idol," is confident she'll find her niche within the bickering, ratings-tested judges' panel where the line between love and hate is blurred with every critique.

"I'm just gonna speak to Simon the way I speak to everybody," DioGuardi told reporters during a teleconference Monday. "I'm just gonna have my opinion, be honest and I don't foresee any problems. I'm really excited about this, and up for the challenge."

The Grammy-nominated songwriter will make her debut when the eighth season of "Idol" premieres in January, the Fox network said Monday.

"It's really flattering too, you know, to think that ('Idol') even thought about me," she said. "I mean, when I got the call, I thought they were calling the wrong person. So I'm the new kid on the block, and I'm hoping everyone's gonna go easy on me -- and that I bring a lot to the table."

Jay-z sales Vegas 40/40

By Nolan Strong

Rap star Jay-Z and his business partners have officially announced the sale of the 40/40 Club in Las Vegas for an undisclosed amount, AllHipHop.com has confirmed.

The 24,000 square foot sports bar, which is located in The Palazzo and Casino, will no longer operate under the 40/40 brand, as the sale is for the lease and not the rights to the name.

"The sale is a great business decision, we are delighted. We look forward to expanding the brand even further to Chicago and Tokyo ," Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com in a statement released today (August 27).

Over the next year, Jay-Z and his business partners will open 40/40 sports bars in Chicago, Tokyo and Macau.

The Las Vegas 40/40 Club was opened in December of 2007.

The woman was not stabbed but she was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police say Knight had the drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone when he was arrested.

Artist Feature: Slipknot

Mitchell Peters

The moment is burned into the mind of Roadrunner Records president Jonas Nachsin.

It was 1999, and his label had convinced Ozzfest organizers to put its newly signed band, Slipknot, on the festival's second stage.

Curious to see the band in action before its debut album dropped, Nachsin took a drive to New Jersey, where Ozzfest was playing at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. While hard rock acts Black Sabbath, Slayer, Rob Zombie, System of a Down, Deftones and Godsmack attracted the masses, then-unknown Slipknot took the side stage before a respectable audience of about 200.

And then, Slipknot ripped into its set.

"People were running down the hill," Nachsin recalls. "They heard this cacophonous noise in the background and decided that they literally needed to run and go see what was going on. Those moments are incredibly rare, not just in hard rock or metal, but in music in general."

Lynyrd Skynyrd is back again in 09

John Benson, Cleveland

After spending the last year or so working with former Marilyn Manson/current Rob Zombie guitarist John 5, Lynyrd Skynyrd is close to finishing its next studio album.

"We've been doing quite a bit of writing with John 5," group member Rickey Medlocke tells Billboard.com. "While everybody thought, 'My god, you are going to write with this guy? How is that ever going to work?' But this guy came in and is really multitalented in all genres.

"I was surprised that this guy could sit down and play Glen Campbell and Roy Clark better than they do, and it blew my mind. And then he loves southern rock, the blues and country. It really blew us away."

Obama has a running mate

Reaction to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's selection of Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware as his running mate.

"In naming my colleague and friend Sen. Joe Biden to be the vice presidential nominee, Sen. Obama has continued in the best traditions for the vice presidency by selecting an exceptionally strong, experienced leader and devoted public servant. Sen. Biden will be a purposeful and dynamic vice president who will help Sen. Obama both win the presidency and govern this great country." — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York.

"There has been no harsher critic of Barack Obama's lack of experience than Joe Biden. Biden has denounced Barack Obama's poor foreign policy judgment and has strongly argued in his own words what Americans are quickly realizing — that Barack Obama is not ready to be president." — Ben Porritt, spokesman for the John McCain campaign.

Da Brat gets 3 years imprisonment?!?!?

Da Brat is headed to da slammer.

On Friday, the 34-year-old rapper (born Shawntae Harris) was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to hitting a hostess in the head with a rum bottle, according to the Associated Press.

She was also sentenced to seven years probation, 200 hours of community service and completion of substance abuse treatment, mental evaluation and anger management classes.

The rapper and a half-dozen family members all broke down after hearing the sentence.

"I love y'all," she said to her relatives as a deputy hauled her away, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports.

"We love you too," her family replied in unison.

See unforgettable celebrity mug shots.

Da Brat — who was among the select few who attended Mariah Carey's surprise April wedding to Nick Cannon in the Bahamas — was at a Halloween bash at an Atlanta club last fall when she got into a fight with then-Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Shayla Stevens, who was working as a hostess.

The rapper then took a nearly full bottle of rum and hit Stevens, who now has a permanent scar on her face as a result.

In 2000, Da Brat was arrested after she struck a woman at a bar. She was sentenced to 12 months of probation.

Prince a fan of Janelle Monae

Author: Miss Expose

You know your the “ish” when the legendary Prince comes out to your event voluntarily just to see you personally. Sources have confirmed that Prince showed up at newcomer/singer Janelle Monae’s show on Tuesday night at L.A.’s Viper Room…but Prince never even stepped into the club. Since his was solo, Prince’s limo parked in the back of the club and he waited until Monae was done with her performance. Monae eventually came out and joined Prince in the back seat of his limo…GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER! No freaky deaky behavior was involved…but a source says Prince is a huge Janelle Monae fan and just wanted to give her some “career advice.”

E! Online’s Marc Malkin wrote: “I’m told on Monday night a bunch of folks headed to Prince’s house after Monae’s show with Raphael Saadiq at the Roxy. The little get-together also included one of Prince’s signature living-room jam sessions.”

Many celebrities came through to support Janelle Monae’s, who’s originally from Atlanta, promotional tour stop in L.A. including Sean “Diddy” Combs (who signed Monae to Bad Boy), Ne-Yo, Eddie Murphy, and more. Monae’s album “Metropolis: The Chase Suite.”

Gwen Stefani has child number 2 but... wtf kinda name is it?!?

This woman needs to get her Hollywood head checked... poor child.

Singer, Gwen Stefani, gave birth to her second boy yesterday! She named her baby ZUMA NESTA ROCK. Zuma weighed 8 pounds and 5 ounces when he was born Thursday afternoon, according to publicist Dave Tomberlin. “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy,” he said in a statement.

Some of you are thinking, what kind of name is ZUMA? Well Stefani says she wanted to name her kids something unique.

Gwen Stefani and her hubby Gavin Rossdale “have proven decisively that they’re masters in choosing names that are both highly unusual and carry a lot of personal meaning,” baby name expert Pamela Redmond Satran, co-author of The Baby Name Bible, tells Usmagazine.com.

Nesta, was Bob Marley’s first name before an immigration official switched it with his middle name, Robert.

“This name obviously links to big brother Kingston’s and is another nod to Jamaica and reggae,” says Satran.

The name Rock “needs no explanation,” given that the baby’s parents are rock stars, Satran says, and the fact that we’re “long overdue for a Rock Hudson-inspired revival.”

Dave Matthews Band's LeRoi Moore Dies At 46

Dave Matthews Band saxophone player LeRoi Moore, one of the group's founding members and a key part of its eclectic jazz-infused sound, died Tuesday (Aug. 19) from injuries he sustained in an all-terrain vehicle accident in June. He was 46.

The band released a statement on its Web site confirming Moore died at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center.

Moore was initially hospitalized in late June after the ATV accident on his farm outside Charlottesville, Va. He was later discharged and had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin a physical rehabilitation program when complications forced him back to the hospital on July 17, the band said.

It was not immediately clear what complications occurred. Galina Shinder, a nursing supervisor at Hollywood Presbyterian, said the hospital could not release any details.

The band's show Tuesday night in Los Angeles was not canceled. Saxophonist Jeff Coffin, who played with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, had been sitting in for Moore during the band's summer tour.

Moore had classical training but said jazz was his main musical influence, according to a biography on the band's Web site.

"But at this stage I don't really consider myself a jazz musician," Moore said in the biography. Playing with the Dave Matthews Band was "almost better than a jazz gig," he said. "I have plenty of space to improvise, to try new ideas."

Halle Berry turns 42

If you don't know by now JF has a crush the size of Jupiter for Halle Berry so this is my modern day Farah Fawcett... dreeeeeeeeeamy!!!

Author Miss Expose

Halle celebrated her 42nd birthday on Thursday night. Berry and her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, got a musical surprise while attending a recent Robin Thicke performance at Hollywood’s House of Blues. At the end of his show, Thicke told the crowd that a very special lady is in the audience and she’s celebrating a birthday. The entire crowd looked to the Oscar-winning actress as the R&B star serenaded her with the “Happy Birthday” song. Awww I wish that was me! Love that man!

At the end of the evening, Thicke’s wife Paula Patton (sitting with an energy-filled P-Diddy and his buddies who, says an onlooker, “were going crazy!”) gave Berry a big hug before Berry, leading her boy Gabriel by the hand, was led to a waiting black Escalade.

Good News: Christina Applegate cancer free

Christina Applegate appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America in her first interview since she announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy three weeks ago, but is in good spirits. She’ll undergo reconstructive surgery over the next eight months.

“I’m going to have cute boobs ’til I’m 90, so there’s that,” she joked in the interview, which aired Tuesday. “I’ll have the best boobs in the nursing home. I’ll be the envy of all the ladies around the bridge table.” “I just wanted to kind of be rid of it,” she said. “So this was the choice I made and it was a tough one.”

“I’ve laughed so much in the last three weeks,” she said. “I love living, and I really love my life, and I knew that from this moment on it was only going to be good that was going to be coming. Yeah, I’ll face challenges, but you can’t get any darker than where I’ve been. So knowing that in my soul gave me the strength to just say, `I have to get out there and make this a positive.’”

Applegate is scheduled to appear on a one-hour TV special, “Stand Up to Cancer,” to be aired on ABC, CBS and NBC on Sept. 5 to raise funds for cancer research.

Kim Kardashian wants to lose her booty... say it ain't SO?!?!

Kim Kardashian wants to lose some junk in the trunk.

"I love that I'm curvy, but I'm on this major kick to try and lose weight, especially in my butt," she tells Radar magazine. "I'm just so over it! When you're posing on the red carpet and the paparazzi shout, 'Turn around! Turn around!' — it gets a little offensive."

Kardashian, 27, denies rumors that she's had butt implants.

"I've seen magazines where plastic surgeons are saying, 'If you want a butt like this it has to be fake,'" she says. "I'm just like, 'Dude, have you ever seen an Armenian girl before?'"

Earlier in the year, Paris Hilton blasted Kardashian's booty, saying it "reminds me of cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."

"Wasn't that nasty?" Kardashian responds. "She called and apologized, and I accepted her apology. She said she was joking. I kind of laugh it off, like, 'You know, I've never denied having cellulite.'

"Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. If she thinks my butt looks like that, I don't really care," she goes on. "At least I have a butt."

Trump saves McMahon!!!

Donald Trump doesn't know Ed McMahon, but he "grew up watching him on tv," so he'd like to be his new landlord. McMahon is currently facing foreclosure from Countrywide, and had 2 weeks to sell his house before the bank repossessed it. Mr. Trump has agreed to buy the house and lease it to McMahon, says the LA Times.

"I don't know the man, but I grew up watching him on TV," Trump told The Times. "When I was at the Wharton School of Business," Trump said, "I'd watch him every night. How could this happen?"

McMahon originally bought the home in 1990 for $2.6 million, and owed $4.8 million to Countrywide at the time that he defaulted. Earlier articles claimed that he was unable to sell the house because it was too close to property owned by Britney Spears and that the constant helicopters and paparazzi were scaring off buyers.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have tied the knot.

"Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," their spokesperson tells PEOPLE exclusively.

DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden.

The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres's mom Betty and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows.

The couple have been dating since December 2004. DeGeneres announced her plans to wed de Rossi during a taping of her talk show in May after California's Supreme Court ruled a previous ban on gay marriage to be unconstitutional.

The following month de Rossi showed off a 3-carat diamond ring set on a pink pavé band DeGeneres presented to her for their upcoming nuptials when the pair attended the Daytime Emmy Awards together.

"She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her," the TV host said of de Rossi last year. "We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.'"

Hip Hop Cash Kings for Forbes: Diddy, 50, and SC

Jay-Z, 50 Cent, and Diddy tops Forbes “Hip-Hop Cash Kings” list for the 2nd year. Last year Jay-Z was topping the list, but this year there’s a new king. 50 Cent usurped Jay-Z as the top earner with $150 million grossed in the last year. What did it for 50 Cent was his stake in Vitamin Water’s parent company Glaceau which was bought by Coca Cola for $4.1 Billion. 50 Cent’s investments also include video games, G-Unit clothing/records, and a pending partnership in South Africa with billionaire mining baron Patrice Motsepe. GO BOY! Jay-Z takes the number 2 slot generating $82 Million in earnings. Bad Boy CEO Sean “Diddy” Combs generated $35 million in revenue behind the success of premium vodka Ciroc, the Sean John clothing line, and Bad Boy releases from Danity Kane and Day26. Completing the top 10 on the list are Kanye West, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Swizz Beatz, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, and Ludacris.

DMX arrested... again... my goodness

In honor of the Olympics, DMX is apparently trying to break some sort of record.

The arrest-addled rapper was busted again Thursday, this time in Miami on an outstanding warrant for skipping another court date in Arizona related to his pending animal-cruelty and drug-possession case.

Pictures taken by TMZ show that police nabbed him outside a Wal-Mart this afternoon.

Although DMX's attorney did appear on his client's behalf Tuesday afternoon to provide documentation that his client couldn't make it because he was hospitalized in Miami (he wouldn't say why, though), the judge opted to issue a bench warrant anyway and raised his bond to $25,000.

"We provided intake documentation, and the judge said it was insufficient," Maricopa County public defender Charles Kozelka told MTV News Wednesday. "The judge said he should have informed the court sooner, and because it was the second time he'd missed court in this case, she issued the warrant."

The lawyer wouldn't comment on reports that DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is in rehab, although he did say that the Cradle 2 the Grave star's camp is "working towards getting him some help, and we hope that will be taken seriously by all parties in this case."

Also asked why a man of DMX's presumed financial stature needs a public defender (the whole "if you can't afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you" part of the Miranda Rights), Kozelka would only say: "He qualified for us, and he feels comfortable with me."

At the time, Kozelka was still hoping that his client could avoid yet another smear on his rap sheet.

"We are in court again next week on other matters, and my hope is we can get the warrant resolved by then and get back on track," he said. "We have some things in the works to get the warrant taken care of. My hope is that we can resolve it without an arrest, but he's been arrested at the airport before, so they obviously have an eye out for him, so I'm not sure."

In addition to an Aug. 19 court date related to his aforementioned pit bulls and pot case, DMX is due in court Aug. 26 to answer to identify-theft charges for allegedly trying to get out of paying a Scottsdale, Ariz., hospital bill by posing as someone else.

He was also arrested twice in one week during a June trip to Miami, once for driving with an invalid license and a few days later for allegedly trying to buy a small amount of marijuana and cocaine from an undercover cop.

Kelly Rowland was ROLLIN' with big bills $372,000!

Author: MissXpose

Must be nice! Kelly Rowland spent close to $400,00 on a night out with her close friends. The former DC3 member racked up the large bill on guests which included U2’s Bono at Amika’s Weekend in St. Tropez, France on Friday. A spy says, “Kelly was the ultimate host and even when the bar bill began to spiral out of control, she refused to close the tab. She had 30 very thirsty pals, so it was always going to be a pretty big night.”

Kelly was having a great time spending her money as well. “At one point, Kelly started dancing wildly and put on a silly Viking hat, much to the hilarity of everyone”, the source says. “Bono arrived quite late and Kelly told him to order whatever he liked. A good night was had by all.”

Kelly, 27, treated her guests to 50 magnums of $6,000 vintage Dom Perignon, 24 bottles of $1,000 Patron tequila and 10 bottles of $4,000 Louis XIII cognac. The bill came out to exactly $372,000.00.

Master P becomes P. Miller

Percy Miller released a statement yesterday saying he will no longer answer to the rap moniker Master P.

“I’m changing my name because Master P is who I used to be. I call it my childhood and P. Miller marks my manhood. I wouldn’t change my past because it’s groomed me to be the man I am today. People grow mentally and spiritually through life experiences, but when you come from hip-hop it’s almost impossible to move past the stereotypes associated with it. I’ve branched out into so many different arenas that range from being the first African-American to have a clothing line at Wal-Mart, to writing books, and speaking on Capitol Hill, but all that gets overshadowed because I come from the hip-hop industry. There’re a lot of people out there, who are afraid to grow up and change, but I’m not and P. Miller is the evolution of me, Percy Miller the entrepreneur, the business man.”

Victoria’s Secret Pink rolled out its nationwide collegiate collection

By Marcia A. Wade

When Victoria’s Secret Pink rolled out its nationwide collegiate collection in June, featuring the names and logos of some 33 universities on sweats, hoodies, football tees, and totes, the promotion didn’t include any historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). This fall, the brand plans to include five HBCUs in the second phase of its collegiate collection.

But, for Amelia Reid, a sophomore at Howard University and a Pink fan, the initial omission was hard to take.

“Going to Howard, where the students are very into academics and also into fashion, I thought ‘Wow, this is crazy,’” says Reid, who is studying political science and fashion merchandising. “Here is another company that doesn’t acknowledge black colleges. A lot of girls from Howard wear Victoria’s Secret and work there also. It shouldn’t have been just those typical schools that come to mind when you think of college.”

Reid e-mailed Victoria’s Secret to express her dismay and was upset when she received a response that she describes as “sugar-coated” and dismissive. Her disappointment materialized into a crusade to bring Pink onto the campuses of HBCUs. Early in July, she started a Facebook group “HBCU Ladies Wear Victoria’s Secret Pink Too” in an effort to encourage people to write to the company and complain about the HBCU oversight. By late July, the group had more than 400 Facebook members.

A few days after Reid’s initial e-mail, Richard A. Dent III, chief operating officer for Pink, contacted Reid through her Facebook group after someone forwarded him her complaint. “I reached out to her because she was a fan of the brand. I wanted her to know that we were not being insensitive, and we did have a plan,” says Dent, a graduate of Florida A&M University’s business school and a member of the school’s board of trustees.

According to Dent, the first HBCU schools that will roll off the Pink line will be Howard University, Florida A&M University, Hampton University, North Carolina A&T University, and Southern University. “We have agreements with the licensees who handle collegiate apparel for those schools, and this has been in the works for some time,” he says. Dent adds that the company plans to include students from the schools in internships at Victoria’s Secret, and feature promotions at their homecoming events.

Mike Jones catches a beating at Ozone

Author: Missxpose

The Ozone Awards took a turn for the worse last night. Mike Jones was violently assaulted by a fellow Houston rapper named Trae. Jones was videotaped holding his face with a bloody cloth which clarified that he had been injured. Jones said fellow rapper, Trae is just upset because he is running things in Houston right now.

“I guess he was mad because I called myself the president because I am the president of H-Town,” Jones said in an interview on Houston’s 102 Jamz. “I run this city

Trae admitted to take a cheap shot at Jones during the hip hop event. “Yeah he got it,” said Trae. “He got it for running his mouth too much.”

“The point is man, don’t come disrespecting the city,” he continued. “You don’t even ride for the city. When people were shittin’ on Houston like Houston fell off that n*gga ducked up curled and went somewhere.”

Sean Paul arrested...ahhh mon!

Author: MissXpose

SEAN PAUL ARRESTED? NO WAY...

Sean Paul is NEVER in my scoop, but he made it this time because he was arrested on drug charges at the Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden this past weekend. Apparently, 200-300 people who attended this Reggae concert were also arrested on drug charges. WOW!

In addition to concertgoers, police say ten other artists performing at the show also were hauled in for questioning — they later were released.

Poor thang, I love me some Sean Paul…

3,300 lbs Stingray... My goodness

Sometimes we gotta bring the weird...

Early in the morning around 2:00am a fishing boat near Hainan Sanya in China caught what is likely to be one of the largest stingrays ever caught.

Casting nets, the fishermen caught a 3,300 lbs Stingray, which took about 3 hours to pull back into the boat. The net was strong enough to hold the huge fish, but the struggle cause the stingray to die.

The stingray measured about 16 1/2 foot in width.

The fishermen tied the stingray to the back of the boat and dragged it back to their dock. It remained in perfect condition even though it was dead for many hours.

The fisherman was able to sell the stingray for around $1,500 since they have a high commercial value.

Stingray’s liver can be made into fish oil, the bones and intestines are used in medical fish powder, and the meat is a delicacy in most restaurants.

Dr. Dre's daughter with a shocking commentary

By Ismael AbduSalaam

Manaj, daughter of legendary producer Dr. Dre, has announced the release of a web documentary chronicling her attempts to break in the music industry.

Despite having a Hip-Hop icon as a parent, 23-year-old Manaj claims her father has offered no support for her rap career aspirations in the documentary Daddy's Shadow.

In fact, Manaj emphasizes that Dre has objected to her dream since she signed her first label deal in 2006.

“You don’t want me to rap,” a disappointed Manaj stated on the documentary to her father. “But you’re out here helping everyone else.”

Dr. Dre is currently focusing on having the much-delayed Detox ready for release by the end of this year.

Daddy’s Shadow was directed by Manaj and distributed by her record label TM Media Group, Inc.

The movie also offers behind the scenes information on her family’s life away from the cameras.

The documentary was originally scheduled to come out in 2006, but was delayed when Dr. Dre allegedly stopped speaking to Manaj, due to the film’s content.

Daddy’s Shadow is currently available for a $5.99 download at http://www.tmmediagroup.com/.

Blueprint III Sneak Peak: Jay-z & Kanye in NYC

Joe got a little beef with label mate R. Kelly

WOW! So R&B singer Joe revealed some juicy scoop on his situation at Jive Records and his label mate R. Kelly. Joe has been with Jive for the past 11 years but never was as successful as he should have been even after six album. He recently decided to branch off and go the independent route as most artist do if they don’t make it “big” under an established label.

Joe said after he left Jive, he found out why he never really progressed while signed to the label that launched the success of Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, his label mate R. Kelly & much more. The reason he says…R. Kelly himself! Joe tells EUR’s Lee Baily in an x-clusive interview that R. Kelly put pressure on Jive executives and radio stations to fall back on promoting Joe’s records especially when his single’s got to much attention.

“R. Kelly was very instrumental in making a lot of decisions when it came to my records being played on the radio,” Joe revealed. “He would make a call to the radio station or to the label and say, ‘Hey, this Joe record is too hot right now. Yall need to pull that back.’ And they would oblige.”

Bernie Mac Passes Away

Bernie Mac has died in a Chicago-area hospital from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist confirmed. He was only 50 years old. The Emmy and Gold Globe-nominated comedian suffered from sarcoidosis, which is an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the organs of afflicted persons. The disease went into remission in 2005, but he fought it off until early this morning when he took his last breath. Mac is survived by his wife Rhonda McCullough, their daughter, Je’Niece, a son-in-law and a granddaughter, Jasmine.

Bernie will be missed deeply. He will forever personally have one of my favorite comedy stand up routines of all time from Original Kings of Comedy.

McKagan + McCready = Seattle Tattoo Expo

Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.

Velvet Revolver's Duff McKagan and Pearl Jam's Mike McCready will rock out with their side projects in the coming days as part of the seventh annual Seattle Tattoo Expo, which kicks off tomorrow (Aug. 8) at the Seattle Center.

Both McKagan's Loaded and McCready's Flight to Mars will play an event after-party tomorrow night at El Corazon. Loaded will also play Sunday at the Expo, which is hosting a concert stage all weekend featuring Nashville Pussy, Nevermore, Tiger Army and many others. For tickets and information, visit SeattleTattooExpo.com.

McKagan fits right in at Tattoo Expo, considering he has 13 of them, the most recent of which he obtained last Friday. "My wife and I have been riding motorcycles a lot lately, and she told me I needed to get a skull tattoo," he tells Billboard.com. "The guy started in on it right in this really sensitive area. I always realize what a sh*tty idea it is. I love the result but the process sucks."

Jay-Z has a new Blueprint for us

Hillary Crosley, N.Y.

Jay-Z has confirmed rumors that he's hard at work on his 11th and final album via Def Jam, "The Blueprint 3."

Last night (Aug. 6), the MC appeared as a guest during Kanye West's Glow in the Dark concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Amidst performing, West asked the audience if he could play a few beats that he recorded while in Hawaii recently, including a song tentatively called "Jockin' Jay-Z."

As the track played, Jay-Z himself crossed the stage and began rapping, "That bloke from Oasis said I couldn't play guitar // somebody shoulda told him I'm a f*cking rock star / today is gonna be the day that I'm gonna throw it back to you." He was referencing his cover of Oasis' "Wonderwall" at the recent Glastonbury Festival, which drew a mixed response.

According to longtime Jay-Z friend and Roc-A-Fella artist Memphis Bleek, "Jockin' Jay-Z" is only one of many gems that West has crafted for the MC.
