Is Creepa a fraud from G's to Gents?!?!
Miss Xpose tells us the inside scoop.
Fans of the reality show should know that Creepa is the winner of the first season of MTV’s from G’s To Gents. He won $100,000.00 for becoming a gentleman which was really tough for him. Supposedly, Creepa came from a violent background of Miami Gardens, Florida a place where his father was killed when he was just a child, and where day-to-day living was purely a matter of survival of the fittest, and luck of the draw. As a result, he learned at an age to be a thug to survive, and take care of his family. SUPPOSEDLY is the KEY WORD here…So, I get this email yesterday, and we hear that Creepa lied his way on the show…I’m not sure how true that is either, but check out this Media Release (which has some major typos in it from the Publicist) Miss Xpose received yesterday:

Produced partly by Oscar award winning actor JAMIE FOXX and brilliantly hosted by P Diddy’s ex-butler and recording artist, FONWORTH BENTLEY. Millions of MTV’s fans watched their favorite ”G” CREEPA win the prize as tears of joy streamed down the winner’s face after giving his seemingly heartfelt speech to why he should be crowned the winner.
Week after week fans had their hearts strings pulled as CREEPA told his story of being a ‘’street thug” tired of the life and looking for a change. How a disabled mother raised him after his father was murdered. How he had to work the streets to get money to care for his family as a young boy. How he suffers from heart problems and/or chest problems due to his hard life on the streets. Not to mention one of his friends was murdered while he was on the show ….oh no that was last week ….this week it was THREE FRIENDS and now he needed to the money to re-locate from his ”hood” in fear of his own life upon returning home.
As stated in his final statement to Mr. Bentley on last night’s final episode.
Was it all a lie?
In fact sources close to the family states the following:
CREEPA mother is not really disabled at all as seen when she appeared on the show 2 weeks ago. ”CREEPA’s mother worked for AT&T for years …over 20 year I think states a family friend …She is a home owner…they own their home! I know she stop working a couple of years ago because her hands hurt from typing for years but she is not disabled the way her son was lying on that show”. She adds ”If you call not working, drinking, smoking weed, getting high with CREEPA and living off poorly cared for foster kids disabled …then she is disabled”. Yes, CREEPA’s father was killed when he a two …but I know nothing of him being a ‘’street thug” or hustling living on the streets…his mother had a good job with benefits for years!
CREEPA is too lazy to hustle …he won’t work period! He moved a 17 year old girl in his mother’s house and she was the only one is the house working taking care of CREEPA! He kicked her out the day before he left to do the show…that girl took care of him for over a year. He later took her back in after he dumped his partner that put him on the show when he returned 4 weeks later bragging he fooled everyone and won the show. In fact CREEPA broke ties with everyone that ever did anything for him when he returned from that show.
As far as a friend being killed … I challenge him to name one friend…ONE that was killed during those 3 1/2 weeks he was on the show…. Forget about 3! When he said he needed the money to relocate out of fear of being killed …I almost fell off my chair! CREEPA has been home from day one! He’s home right now waiting for those suckers to give him that check! On his porch as always smoking weed with friends till the wee hours of da night. I know his partner, Tandy did try to move CREEPA to a $700,000 gated condo on the beach when he came home before she too learned of the extent of CREEPA’s lies …he would not move …cause he wanted to steal the money from her! Does that sound like somebody afraid for his or her life! It was all a con …a lie. And I feel sorry for a few of those guys on that show cause they all fell for a master liar. I can’t see how MTV didn’t know this kid was lying …there is something funny wit dat. I know he was real close with one of the producers on the show…she calls him still all the time still. Maybe the show was fixed.
I also feel for Mr. Bentley he was trying to do the right thing and Miami Dade County player just played him. He is 10 times worse than Rick Ross !!!
Remember CREEPA never won one of the challenges while on the show but yet HE won. Did he do it by telling lies, bulling others into not voting off him or perhaps by having a special friendship with one of the female producer’s from the show?
What message does that send to the children of our community…?

Locklear's dummy self gets a DUI
Heather Locklear was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday evening in Santa Barbara County, Calif.
"Around 4:30 p.m., a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot in Montecito," California Highway Patrol spokesman Tom Marshall tells PEOPLE. "The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times."
Soon after, the witness – who apparently didn't recognize the actress – spotted Locklear, 47, stopped on a nearby highway, exiting her vehicle.
"The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear's safety," Marshall said. "When a CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway."
Because Locklear appeared "disoriented and impaired," she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered, Marshall said. The actress was cooperative.
"Alcohol was ruled out as a factor, but based on the officer's observations, we believe Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication," Marshall added.
Locklear was arrested on suspicion of DUI and being under the influence of a controlled substance. She booked at a local jail around 7 p.m., and released hours later.
The actress's lawyer, Blair Berk, wasn't immediately available for comment. Locklear's publicist had no comment.
Just two months ago, Locklear left an Arizona treatment facility after battling anxiety and depression.

Ciara is sizzling still over Vibe "pics"
Ciara is still fussing over those Vibe nude pics. In an interview with MTV she says that she really had underwear on during the photo shoot. It’s “very, very upsetting and somewhat misleading,” she told MTV News.
Vibe Editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith tells a different story. She said that Ciara was completely nude for the shoot and the whole thing was her idea! Who’s lying here man!
“I have so much respect for Ciara, and Ciara was so happy when she pitched this idea to us, and the photos are actually striking and beautiful,” Smith said during an interview with New York’s KISS-FM. “It was pitched to me in a way that it was time [for her] to grow up and be beautiful and be free and be all the things she wanted to be.”
Ciara said that the photo shoot was suppose to celebrate “human form”. She explained that after the pictures were taken of her, she felt great, but when she saw the end results on the printed magazine she realized that something was missing….HER UNDERWEAR! LOL
“When I saw the pictures, that wasn’t what was discussed or what we were going in to do, so that definitely bothered me,” she told MTV. “I think the body is something beautiful, and I wanted to celebrate that. And unfortunately, it wasn’t exactly what it was in the photo shoot, and I’m looking forward to moving forward.”
What I don’t understand it, how come the artist don’t PROOF the pictures before they are put in the magazine. If I go on a photo shoot, you better believe that I need to see the “touched up” end result before it is printed on any publication. Something is FISHY here!

Britney tells with the new "Womanizer" joint

"Womanizer," the first single from Britney Spears' upcoming album "Circus," hit U.S. radio outlets this morning. The track, produced by up-and-coming Atlanta team the Outsyders, has a thick, synthy sound that should lend itself to remixes and club play.
Lyrically, "Womanizer" finds Spears rebuffing the advances of man with the "swagger of champions." "Must mistake me as a sucker / To think that I would be a victim not another / Say it, play it how you wanna / But no way I'm ever gonna fall for you," she sings.
Among the other contributors on "Circus" are Dr. Luke, who wrote and produced the title cut, Danja, Guy Sigsworth, Max Martin and Bloodshy & Avant. The album's release on Dec. 2 coincides with Spears' 27th birthday.
Although its video isn't quite ready yet, "Womanizer" will play during Monday's (Sept. 29) episode of the MTV show "The Hills."

Clay Aiken is gay... who is surprised??
In an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Clay Aiken comes out of the closet finally. Even though everyone knew the obvious, Clay Aiken said that he wanted to reveal his secret because he is following through on a promise that he made to himself as a new dad of a baby boy.
“It was the first decision I made as a father,” Aiken, 29, tells the upcoming issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands Friday. “I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn’t raised that way, and I’m not going to raise a child to do that.”
Aiken thinks that the news may be shocking to his fans. YEAH RIGHT! “Whether it be having a child out of wedlock, or whether it be simply being a homosexual, it’s going to be a lot,” said Aiken, who returned to Broadway last week as Sir Robin in Monty Python’s Spamalot.
He wanted his fans to know that he didn’t purposely lie to them…Aiken says “know that I’ve never intended to lie to anybody at all. … But if they leave, I don’t want them to leave hating me.”

Run DMC nominated for Rock & Roll HOF!!!!!
GO RUN DMC! The Legendary rap trio Run DMC has been nominated for induction into the 2009 ‘Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame’. Rolling Stone reports that Run DMC was nominated alongside Bobby Womack, Metallica, Wanda Jackson, The Stooges, Jeff Beck, War, Little Anthony and the Imperials.
If Run-DMC get voted in, they will be the second hip-hop group behind 2008 inductees Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five. The 2009 ceremony is slated to take place at Cleveland’s Public Hall on April 4th and will be open to the public.

Resilience. It’s not just the title of Alonzo Mourning’s stirring memoir; it’s the stuff he’s made of. Whether petitioning himself into foster care as an eleven-year-old, tirelessly studying his way onto the dean’s list at Georgetown University, making it as an all-star center in the NBA, or returning to peak form after organ-transplant surgery, Mourning has shown enormous inner strength. Janet Jackson says peace to Def Jam
Janet Jackson has decided to sever ties with Def Jam Records after releasing just one album under the label.
Janet did not release an official statement, but Producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins made the announcement of Janet’s exit from Def Jam in a vlog on Rap-Up.com today (September 22).
According to Jerkins, Janet had been feuding with the label and wasn’t happy with the promotion of her latest album , Discipline.
“We didn’t get the support from the record company,” said Jerkins. “[Janet] felt like it wasn’t pushed. I felt like it wasn’t pushed correctly. She just didn’t get her just-do as an artist of that magnitude.”
Janet signed to Island Def Jam in 2007 and released Discipline in February 2008.

Natalie Cole vs. Hepatitis C
Singer, Natalie Cole, was admitted to the hospital due to complications from Hepatitis C. “She has had a setback and is in the hospital in New York. We expect her to make a full recovery. She will be in the hospital a few more days and then will be sent home for bed rest,” her spokeswoman, who declined to be named, told Reuters. Cole, who is 58, had to cancel and/or postpone her tour dates that were schedule for October. In July of this year, the Grammy winner, announced that she was diagnosed and battling Hepatitis C which was contracted during her drug use years back.
Her doctors said she was responding well to treatment, including chemotherapy, but was suffering “significant side effects,” including fatigue, muscle aches and dehydration.

Travis Barker and DJ AM critically injured in plane crash
Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and DJ AM were critically injured in a plane crash Friday night (September 19) in Columbia, South Carolina. They had just performed at a free T-Mobile-sponsored show in the Five Points area, along with Perry Farrell and headliner Gavin DeGraw.
Though early reports had suggested that DeGraw may have been on the plane at the time of the crash, DeGraw's father, Wayne, told MTV News that he'd spoken to his son Saturday morning and that he was fine. Farrell's manager, Peter Katsis, confirmed that Farrell was not on the plane.
According to Lynne Douglas, public information officer for the Columbia Metro Airport, the crash took place just before midnight on Friday and involved a private Learjet with six passengers onboard. While taking off, the plane, which never left the ground, began sending up sparks and skidded off the end of the runway through a fence separating the airfield from a nearby roadway. It then crossed the roadway and ended up in an embankment, catching fire on impact. Douglas said two passengers — who were later confirmed to be AM and Barker — escaped the aircraft while it was on the ground, while the other two passengers and crew members died in the crash.
An eye witness told NBC news affiliate WIS that he saw a fireball crossing the road near the airport and then realized it was a plane. He saw jet fuel shoot out across the roadway and then saw two men, who were both on fire, patting each other down to extinguish the flames.
Beth Frits, a spokesperson for the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia, confirmed that AM (born Adam Goldstein) and Barker were transported to a hospital in Columbia, following the crash. They were transferred — AM by helicopter and Barker by ambulance — to the Still Center soon after. She told CNN that both men had "extensive burns."
Lexington County Deputy Coroner Brian Setree confirmed for MTV News on Saturday morning that three men and a woman were killed in the crash. Just after 10 a.m. Saturday, Setree identified two of the crash victims: the plane's pilot, Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim, California, and her co-pilot, James Bland, who was 52 and lived in Carlsbad, California. At 10:40, Setree confirmed that Barker's assistant, Chris "Little Chris" Baker, also died in the crash. He was 29, and lived in Studio City, California. At 11:30 a.m., Setree released the name of the fourth person who died: Barker's security guard, Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles.
The National Transportation Safety Board has scheduled a press conference for 11:30 a.m., and it is expected more details about the accident will be revealed at that time.
Barker, 32, and DJ AM, 35, were the house band for the 2008 VMAs.

Eminem To Appear In Shade 45 Radio To Celebrate Delicious Vinyl Anniversary
Rap star Eminem will be interviewed by his own Sirius radio station, Shade 45, to discuss the 20th anniversary of indie record label Delicious Vinyl.
The rapper, who’s been most known the last few years for being underneath the radar, will be joined by Delicious Vinyl’s co-founder Mike Ross. The Los Angeles based label, founded in 1987, is most known for signing legendary West Coast artists The Pharcyde and Masta Ace, whom Eminem has touted for years as being one of his greatest influences.
In VIBE’s September Juice issue, Eminem spoke sincerely about his own overall impact. “There were others before me,” he said, “but in a sense, I blew the door open for people of other nationalities to actually do this.”

Nate Dogg has 2nd Stroke

Nate Dogg suffered a SECOND stroke recently. We haven’t got all the details yet, but sources say that the rapper is in serious condition due to a second stroke. As you may recall, Nate Dogg had a stroke in late December of 2007 which caused him to be partially paralyzed on the left side of his body. Now we hear he can’t breath on his own as a result of this recent stroke! SAD. Nate Dogg has had a rough year boy! Apart from his strokes, Nate Dogg was arrested in June of this year for making threats against his former girlfriend as he followed her in another car on the 405 Freeway in Los Angeles.

Sex and the City fans are gonna be taking it back to high school. US Magazine reports that Candace Bushnell, the author of the column that became the hit series and movie, is writing a teen novel about Carrie Bradshaw’s adolescence, HarperCollins announced Wednesday.
“I’ve always been interested in exploring Carrie’s teenage years,” Bushnell said in a statement. “Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd - she led it. It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.”
The novel, part of a two-book deal, is due for global publication in fall 2010.
“We are incredibly thrilled,” said Alessandra Balzer of HarperCollins’ Balzer & Bray imprint. “Teenagers are rabid fans of the Sex and the City book and show. I can’t wait to see what happens when Candace turns her sharp eye for social commentary to the other competitive jungle that is high school.”

Jada Pinkett-Smith has a star role in her her latest film that was released last Friday (Sept.12) called ‘The Women’. Did you go see it yet? The film is a remake of the 1939 George Cukor film, but has been modified slightly with Pinkett-Smith playing a lesbian character.
Jada Pinkett-Smith says she really enjoyed playing a lesbian. “I play a lesbian, which is fantastic, and I got to be in love with Eva Mendes, which is even more fantastic. Will was like, ‘Oh, I had her already. You can have my leftovers’. I love Eva. That’s my girl. We had a good time together. That was one of the reasons I wanted to do ‘The Women’. It was a first time female director. She had been working on this project for 13 years and it’s called ‘The Women’ and its an all-female cast, and I was like, ‘I have to do this’. It was just the statement alone” she expressed.

Damn! Nicole Richie pulled a Kanye West move recently. Richie went buckwild outside a NY nightclub on a tourist who tried to take her picture.
According to Page Six, Nicole Richie was pissed with the young fan who was standing outside of an afterparty held at Country Club, hosted by Mark Ronson’s fashion designer sister Charlotte as part of New York Fashion Week. “A young, Swedish tourist was trying to take her photo. Richie shouted, ‘I’m not an animal’ then jumped over the velvet rope, ripped the camera out of the girl’s hand, and smashed it to the ground”, a witness said.
Dang! Well, as a celebrity, shouldn’t you be used to paparazzi always following you? Isn’t it part of the celebrity status life? What do you think?

In the October issue of ‘Essence,’ Mo’Nique reveals that she was sexually abused by her brother at the age of seven.
“I was molested by my older brother,” she tells writer Audrey Edwards during one of her most candid interviews ever. “And even when I confronted him and told my parents, he said I was lying, and nothing was really done.”
The comedian says her nasty brother molested her four times over the course of four years. He often used candy to lure her into the bathroom, where much of the abuse took place.
Her parents, she said, were in disbelief, but she didn’t hold them accountable “because me and my brother were both their children, and I just don’t know the kind of position they felt they were in.”
“My father was very upset, but it never got mentioned again. I’ll never forget my mother saying, ‘If it’s true, it will surface again,’ and I remember thinking, ‘Why would I lie? “I have some 19-year-old friends, but I don’t like anyone illegal if that’s what we are talking about, underage.”
It’s been three months since a Chicago jury acquitted the star of filming a sex video with an underage girl. Kelly claims that the accusations had come from disgruntled former employees.
R Kelly said “It’s time for me to move on. I can’t keep answering these questions.If you were charged with something and found innocent, then you can’t be found guilty for being found innocent”.

Feds are bailing out AIG & snatching 80%

WASHINGTON — Fearing a financial crisis worldwide, the Federal Reserve reversed course on Tuesday and agreed to an $85 billion bailout that would give the government control of the troubled insurance giant American International Group.
The decision, only two weeks after the Treasury took over the federally chartered mortgage finance companies Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, is the most radical intervention in private business in the central bank’s history.
With time running out after A.I.G. failed to get a bank loan to avoid bankruptcy, Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. and the Fed chairman, Ben S. Bernanke, convened a meeting with House and Senate leaders on Capitol Hill about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to explain the rescue plan. They emerged just after 7:30 p.m. with Mr. Paulson and Mr. Bernanke looking grim, but with top lawmakers initially expressing support for the plan. But the bailout is likely to prove controversial, because it effectively puts taxpayer money at risk while protecting bad investments made by A.I.G. and other institutions it does business with.

Michelle Williams next album should be an 'Unexpected' hit

Originally due last month, former Destiny's Child member Michelle Williams' third solo album, "Unexpected," will arrive Oct. 7 via Music World Music/Columbia.
As previously reported, the album steers away from Williams' gospel roots in favor contemporary pop and dance tracks, featuring collaborations with producers Jim Jonsin, Rico Lowe, Wanye Wilkins, Andrew Frampton and Stargate.
The first single, "We Break the Dawn," was co-written by Solange Knowles and has already spent time at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Chart.
Pulsating beats are front-and-center on "Lucky Girl," where Williams uses a vocoder, while "The Greatest" utilizes a martial drum pattern and a winding piano riff. Other tracks include the "Pump Up the Jam"-esque "Private Party" and the Heavyweights-produced "Thank U."
Williams is also showcasing her musical knowledge as a judge on MTV's newest music competition series, "MTV's Top Pop Group," which premiered yesterday (Sept. 11).

Snoop & DMX's Legal Issues
Rapper Snoop Dogg has been granted a visa to enter Australia for a concert tour, the immigration department announced today (Sept. 12) after finishing a full character assessment of the entertainer.
The department had earlier expressed concern about Snoop Dogg's criminal record but took into account the fact that he had traveled to Australia three times without incident.
"In making this decision, the department weighed his criminal convictions against his previous behavior while in Australia, recent conduct -- including charity work -- and any likely risk to the Australian community," the immigration department said in a statement. We took into account all relevant factors and, on balance, the department decided to grant the visa."
It said the rapper, whose birth name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., has committed to doing charity work with at-risk youth during his visit to Australia.
Snoop Dogg's Australian tour with Ice Cube and Thugs-N-Harmony is due to kick off in October. The rapper visited Australia in 1998, 2006 and early 2007 without incident. He withdrew a visa application last May after failing to pass the character requirements one month after pleading no contest to gun and drug charges in the United States.
In other hip-hop legal news, DMX is now in custody in a Phoenix jail on theft charges, Maricopa County Sheriff's officials said. DMX (real name: Earl Simmons) was extradited Wednesday from Miami, where he had pleaded guilty to drug charges and was sentenced to time served.
Simmons is being held on a $25,000 cash bond. He was arrested on a fugitive warrant for failing to appear in Maricopa County Superior Court.
DMX still faces several animal cruelty and drug possession counts.

Trick Trick gets All-Star assistance

Some of the biggest names in hip-hop are present on Detroit rapper Trick Trick's new album, "The Villain," due Nov. 11 via Koch.
Eminem has production credits on three songs, while Dr. Dre mans the boards on another. Kid Rock, Esham and late Detroit rapper Proof are featured on a cover of Run-D.M.C.'s "Together Forever," while Ice Cube and Guilty Simpson also make guest appearances.
The first single is "Let It Fly" featuring Cube. A video will be released in the near future.
"The Villain" is Trick Trick's Koch debut. Its 2005 predecessor, "The People Vs.," was released by Motown and reached No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. It has sold 59,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Beyond the new album, Trick Trick is planning to release his own drink line, G-Punch, a grape-lemonade flavored energy drink through the Citron Beverage Group. He is also gearing up to appear in the films "Cut Print" and "Gang Squad."

Rob Thomas goes worldwide for his album

Matchbox Twenty frontman Rob Thomas says he's "probably about 80 percent done" with his second solo album, the follow-up to 2005's platinum "...Something to Be," with plans to have it ready for release in early 2009.
Thomas tells Billboard.com that he and producer Matt Serletic "have been working kind of around and in tandem when I've been on the road with Matchbox" and, following Thomas' vacation in Hawaii with his family, are returning to work on the project.
Thomas describes the album, tentatively titled "Cradle Songs" after one of the tracks, as "the usual mish-mosh of styles, but hopefully just holding true to a bunch of good songs." Several of them, however, take a more global, rhythmic direction after working with South American and African percussionists.

The Who holds on cover

A planned covers album by the Who, to be produced by T-Bone Burnett, is on hold but still on the British duo's radar, according to frontman Roger Daltrey.
The vocalist tells Billboard.com that there's "no status" on the covers project at the moment because of Burnett's duties on the road with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. "It's an idea that's ticking away," Daltrey says. "It still probably will happen, but I think the smaller the idea is kept, the better. Small and fluid, maybe just something for our Web site."
Daltrey also confirmed that guitarist Pete Townshend is writing new material for the Who, and the singer is waiting to see what he comes up with. "(Townshend) doesn't like to talk about it," Daltrey notes. "It's the lap of the Gods, isn't it? He doesn't know if he likes it until he knows what it's going to sound like. You just have to be there for him if he needs you."

Hiding In Hip Hop (Fruity Loops)
Former MTV executive Terrence Dean XPOSED everything on the Gay/DL subculture in the hip hop industry. His book is entitled Hiding In Hip Hop: On The Down Low in the Entertainment Industry from Music to Hollywood. Well a couple of rappers including Nelly, Yung Berg, and David Banner had a lil something to say about the allegations in the book.

Mariah says no no noooooooooo!
Do you guys remember music producer Damion "Damizza" Young? I sure do! A ways back he was making big time power moves in the rap game as a producers and eventually executive. Well, dude has a new book coming out called "Guilty By Association." From what I know to be actual and factual, Mariah Carey, by way of her lawyer, is attempting to block the release of the book with a cease and desist notice! Apparently, Damizza has done some work as a producer for Mariah and in the book, he plans to talk about it. I THINK Mariah has contractual provisions preventing anybody that works with her to talk about her personally or even professionally. That rules out a book by Nick Cannon, eh?
This is what I think may have prompted Mariah’s people to fire that letter off:
While entire chapters are dedicated to Dre, Snoop, Mariah, Warren G., Eminem, Ludacris and Jay-Z, readers will be hard pressed to come up with a famous name that does not play at least a passing role in "Guilty By Association." Axl Rose, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Quincy Jones, Paris Hilton, Prince, Tobey McGuire, Tony Bennett, Hulk Hogan, Michael and Janet Jackson, Tommy Lee & Pamela Anderson, David Lee Roth, Harry Belafonte, Puffy, Jermaine Dupri, Nas, The Game, 50 Cent, Suge Knight, Tupac, Biggie … the list literally goes on for pages … a manic trip that finally pulls over at the side of the road for a little "breather" at the Betty Ford Center.

50 Cent says Lil' Wayne was in his Candy Shop
Soooo…50 Cent is really feelin’ some type of way about rappers rippin’ him off. In an interview with Rollingstone, 50 said that rappers like Lil Wayne stole his style to create their own hit song. He said, for example, Lil Wayne bit his Lollipop line…“‘Lollipop’ is ‘lick lick lick lick it like a lollipop,’” 50 told Rolling Stone, continuing “And ‘Candy Shop’ is ‘I’ll take you to the Candy Shop/ I’ll let you lick the lollipop.’”
50 says that he is coming out with his solo project “Before I Self Destruct” later this year. He revealed that he doesn’t have to listen to whats out there to create a hit song. “I’m not really listening to anyone else’s records,” 50 said. “I’m in another space where I gotta make what I’m excited about.” “[Other rappers] can take what I’ve done for the last five years and do their version of it and be successful with momentum,” he added. “Meanwhile, I have to reinvent the wheel.”

50 Cent gets to see his son on a regular basis good for him
50 Cent finally won the custody battle to see his son on a regulary basis. A Long Island Judge ruled on Monday that 50 will get to see his 11 year old son, Marquise, every other weekend until an October 22 custody trial in a Suffolk County Family Court. When asked if he was going change his lifestyle before his next court date, He suggested he has no plans to do so. “I’m going to hang out with some (women),” said the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson. “Make some music, make some movies, and continue to kick it.”
His ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, agreed to drop off the boy every other Friday night at a police precinct in Queens, where Fitty’s mom or driver will pick him up. She won an order of protection against the rapper. “He didn’t want people to know how violent he is,” Tompkins said. Tompkins accused 50 of being violent and burning the house he bought her down, but he denied the charge and slapped her with a defamation suit.

Jerry O’Connell is looking for forgiveness from his wife for calling her HUGE on national tv. The actor is married to wife Rebecca Romijn who is pregnant with twin girls right now. He joked about her growing size on a late-night talk show on Friday…and regrets he even said anything.
“I regret calling my wife ‘huge’ on Conan O’Brien,” O’Connell tells PEOPLE. “I meant to say that there are specific areas of my wife that are larger than normal and growing every day. All other portions of my wife are quite petite. I apologize to her and will be coming home with flowers.” (nice cover up Jerry!)

Deelishis is tied down!
So guess who got married…Flavor of Love 2 winner, Deelishis (aka London Charles) got married to her boyfriend Orlando Gordon in July according to her interview with Sister 2 Sister Magazine.
“He and I were sitting around the house watching movies. Around 5, I went into the kitchen to grab something to eat and I came back in the bedroom and he was sitting there with this little box and he said, ‘What are you doing for the rest of your life?’ I was very shocked and surprised”, Deelishis explained about her proposal.
Her engagement party was held at Orlando’s nightclub (which he owns). Deelishis revealed that he handled everything from the food to the decorations.

Vibe don't like white people! Well just Eminem
“When I did a recent interview with Vibe Magazine I asked, ‘Why can’t I get the cover? This is a magazine I love. If there’s one magazine that I’d want to be on the cover of, it’s Vibe,” Thicke told Billboard. “Their response was they don’t have white artists on the cover; that the only white artist they’ve had on the cover was Eminem. I guess if that’s what it is, it is what it is.”
“I respect that because I live in a house with a black woman. I won’t use the word racism. I will say it’s a tough — but rewarding — fight.”
Danyel Smith, Vibe vice president, responded to Thicke’s comments, but didn’t deny them either:
“We have a great deal of respect for Robin Thicke and his music, and we remain flattered by his desire to be on a Vibe cover,” said Smith. “A Vibe cover is a huge milestone in any artist’s career. Recent cover stars include Young Jeezy, Mariah Carey, 50 Cent, Usher, Senator Barack Obama, Eminem, Lil Wayne, and Robert De Niro, to say nothing of our 15-year history. We wish Thicke the best, and were glad he discusses his thoughts on race and R&B in the new October 2008 issue of Vibe.”

Let's Talk About Pep! New book!
Pepa, one half of the legendary group Salt-n-Pepa, releases her book “Let’s Talk About Pep”. As previously reported, the book talks about Pepa, aka Sandy Denton’s, life from the music industry to her abusive romance. Check out some excerpts fromt he book:
“The very thing that got me into Salt-N-Pepa — going with the flow and doing what I was told — was the same thing that got me in a lot of bad situations. Being a chameleon or just going with whatever wasn’t good for me. It allowed me to put up with things I shouldn’t have put up with. It allowed me to be with people I should not have been with because I wasn’t able to just be myself and say no or walk away. It never let me ask, “What do I want out of life?” It never allowed me to really think about me and my needs first…”
Sandy says she was in a decade-long abusive relationship with a man she calls “Brad.” (who I believe is Treach from Naughty by Nature)…
“I had the hot iron in my hand and he had a handful of my hair. He grabbed the hand with the iron in it and was pushing [it] toward my face. … He ended up pressing that hot iron against my other arm. I heard my flesh sizzling, and the smell was sickening. I started screaming from the pain. He dropped the iron and I turned to run, and his nail swiped across my eyeball and shredded my cornea.” The incident left her with deep scars and an eye patch.”

Soulja Boy hacked, someone give that person an award.

American rapper Soulja Boy has been targeted by cyber vandals who defaced his MySpace profile and published his email and YouTube passwords on the internet.
The hackers, reportedly part of the popular online community 4chan, contacted Soulja Boy demanding he hand over US$2500 in order to regain control over his account.
The rapper, who published tracks on the internet before becoming a mainstream star in September last year with the number one hit Crank That (Soulja Boy), refused.
His MySpace page was then wiped out and replaced with obscenity-laden messages where Soulja Boy purportedly declared his homosexuality and told fans to "go f--- yourselves".

BMI Awards: Reunion of the Jacksons... kinda
The Jacksons were crowned icons at the BMI Urban Awards last night (Sept. 4) in Los Angeles, but the King of Pop was an absentee.
Janet Jackson presented her music-making brothers -- Michael, Tito, Jackie, Marlon, Jermaine and Randy -- with the lifetime achievement BMI Icon award following a musical tribute at the award show celebrating R&B and hip-hop's top hitmakers. While Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Randy reunited to accept the award, Jermaine and Michael didn't attend the Wilshire Theatre ceremony.
Where was the Moonwalker? "I don't know," Marlon told the Associated Press before the show. "I think he's in Egypt riding a camel or something."
The Jackson Five -- which included Michael along with Marlon, Jackie, Tito and Jermaine -- was a groundbreaking act that debuted on the 1969 album "Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5." The group simply became the Jacksons after leaving Motown in 1976, replacing Jermaine with Randy.
"It's a great honor to know your music influenced a generation," said Tito. "We're very proud of this moment."

The Mars Volta and others join up for Voodoo Experience

The Mars Volta, N*E*R*D, TV On The Radio, Irma Thomas, the Butthole Surfers, Fishbone and Ben Jelen have joined the lineup for the 2008 Voodoo Experience, to be held Oct. 24-26 at New Orleans' City Park.
They augment a bill that also features R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails, Stone Temple Pilots and Lil Wayne, among hundreds of others.
Festival founder/producer Stephen Rehage admits he was considering last-ditch options for Voodoo had Hurricane Gustav struck New Orleans with the force of Hurricane Katrina three years earlier. Luckily, the city was mostly spared this time around.
"I remembered all the struggles of 2005 and the options we might have to consider, but not moving forward this year never crossed my mind," says Rehage, who also produces the New Orleans Essence Festival.

The group Heart is tripping about their song being used

Rck group Heart, angry that its 70's hit "Barracuda" is being used as the unofficial theme song for Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin, is biting back at the Alaska governor.
The song, a nod to the "Sarah Barracuda" nickname Palin earned on the basketball court in high school, was dusted off for her appearance at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul on Wednesday.
Heart singers Ann and Nancy Wilson said a "cease-and-desist" letter has been sent to the Republicans asking them not to use the song.
"The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use the song, nor would they have been granted that permission," according to a statement issued late on Thursday on behalf of the sisters.
There was no immediate comment from the Republican camp.

Jay-Z addresses what Teairra and Foxy said
Jay-Z finally came forward to address accusations that Foxy Brown and Teairra Mari have brought about regarding their tenure at Roc-a-Fella Records. As previously reported, Teairra Mari xposed that she was really hurt that Jay-Z never contacted her to tell her that she was getting dropped from the label due to lack of records sales and Foxy has told the media repeatedly that Jay-Z never checked on her while she was in jail. So Jay-Z felt obligated to clear his record that he isn’t the bad guy here… “As far as Foxy or Teairra Marì, these are people that I have given chances to. It’s understandable that they would be upset, but you got to look at it from my point of view as well,” Jay-Z told AllHipHop.com. “I gave Teairra Marì the same shot I gave Rihanna.” It is obvious that Rihanna had more star quality and success than the former “princess” of the Roc. “No matter what people say, no one has ever said that I am dishonest or that I have taken one dime from them…I’ve never cheated anyone out of a dime. No one’s ever said that, right?”, Jay-Z concluded.

Mayor Kilpatrick trying to keep his hide out of jail -_-
DETROIT -- Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm has opened a historic hearing in Detroit to determine whether Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick committed misconduct and should be removed from office.
Kilpatrick's lawyers failed to persuade courts to stop the process, which began Wednesday morning. The mayor wasn't present for the hearing.
The Detroit City Council accuses the mayor of misleading it when it approved an $8.4 million settlement with fired police officers.
Council members say they didn't know the deal also covered up steamy text messages between Kilpatrick and his top aide.
Granholm is holding the hearing under her constitutional authority to remove elected officials.
Besides the removal hearing, Kilpatrick faces 10 felonies in two criminal cases.

Ne-yo suing the britches off R. Kelly?!?
WOW! Check this out…Earlier this year we posted that Ne-Yo was suing R. Kelly promoters for dropping him off the R. Kelly tour after just two shows. Ne-Yo was dropped from the tour because he had upstaged R. Kelly (allegedly). Well, Ne-Yo did end up suing the tour’s promoter, Rowe Entertainment, and the company failed to answer the lawsuit that was served to them. Thus, a L.A. Superior Court ordered Rowe Entertainment to pay Ne-Yo (aka Shaffer Smith) and his touring agent $700,320.00. Reps for Rowe had no comment upon press release.

Spotlight: The Brother Kite

The Brother Kite's first two albums, available through micro-indie Clairecords, are enough to prove the group's ability to catch a pop hook and run with it. Washy guitars, gorgeous voice layering and a penchant for soaring, Beach Boys-ian crescendos dominate 2006's "Waiting for the Time to Be Right," while a subtler vocal style is the theme of 2004's "thebrotherkite." The Brother Kite's modern indie-pop has plenty of timeless elements that would appeal to a broader audience than its small Northeast following.
In other words, it's time this Providence, R.I., fivesome has a team.
"We just need more opportunities to tour," guitarist Mark Howard says. The group has played stages with such acts as French Kicks, Frightened Rabbit and the Danielson Famile. "We also realize what an asset it is to have had a label that was OK with us doing our own thing without any timelines."
The group—rounded out by principal songwriter Pat Boutwell, guitarist Jon Downs, bassist Andrea Downs and drummer Matt Rozzero—is in the midst of recording and producing its next full-length in its own studio, with hopes to release it through a fitting label deal this fall.
