Daz Dillinger's Directing Debut

Quick note from me: I love Alfamega and I hop that folks get with him as his music grows very good new artists.

West Coast M-C Daz Dillinger will make his directorial debut with the independent film Make It Rain. Daz and co-director Patrick J. Black the Second will tell the story of an Atlanta commissioner dedicated to shutting down all of the city’s strip clubs. Grand Hustle rapper Alfamega will star as a local player who seems to be romantically involved with most of the strippers. He tells AllHipHop-dot-com, “My character, ‘Big A,’ messes with all the girls in his club. I end up getting one of the girls pregnant, but because I’m dissing her, her actions lead to me getting robbed… It’s like a [combination of] Friday and Player’s Club.”

Goodie Mob’s Khujo, Kandi Burruss, Big Kuntry, Rasheeda, Boyz N’ Da Hood’s Big Duke, Snoop Dogg and comedian Shawty Shawty will all make cameos in the flick. No word on when Make It Rain will be released.

Daz’s new solo album Only on the Left Side — featuring appearances from Snoop, Obie Trice, Krayzie Bone, Kurupt and Keak da Sneak– is due on August 12th. — Elle Castro
